02 – Toughened glass shower doors
To protect your safety at every turn, toughened glass is used for our shower doors. Your shower door is also fitted with a clear Biocote coating that repels grime, dirt and microbes for the best shower experience, and a reduced cleaning burden.
This will keep your shower door cleaner for longer, and allow for excellent visibility when transferring in and out of the glass enclosure.
The shower door is also installed on a sliding mechanism for a convenient experience while using your shower enclosure, so you don’t need to worry about a hinged door causing trapped fingers, or extra parts to clean.
03 – Adjustable folding seat
It’s natural that you’ll want to experience as much independence as possible while you’re bathing in walk in showers, so we install an adjustable folding seat for your comfort and safety.
This seat enables you to have a leisurely and worry-free showering experience without the risk of slipping and falling.
04 – Low threshold shower tray
All of our walk in showers, including the Trent walk in shower enclosures, are fitted with low threshold shower trays. If you have mobility issues, the low threshold will enable you to step confidently into the shower enclosure without the added risk of tripping.
The shower tray is fitted with Grade C slip resistant surface material to ensure your safety while using your shower.
05 – Temperature controlled mixer taps
We know how essential safety features are for walk in baths, the risk that the elderly face from slips and falls is far higher.
To make your exit from the bath safe and easy, we’ll install grab rails in positions that work best for you. We’ll work with you to establish where you need the extra support when getting out of the bath, and install grab rails in the best position to suit your needs.
06 – Install secure grab rails for extra peace of mind
If you struggle with your mobility, and would like some added support while navigating your way around your walk in shower, we are happy to fit grab rails onto the shower walls to support you wherever needed.
These fixtures are fitted complete with a stylish design to complement your bathroom and remain a sleek and understated addition to your shower.
07 – Extra long shower hose
We understand that both moving around and standing for extended periods of time can be a challenge when you have reduced mobility or problems with your joints. That’s why we wanted to make it easy for you to shower in comfort from whichever position suits you best.
Our Trent walk in shower enclosures are also fitted with an extra long 2m hose, which is ideal for helping you experience luxurious bathing while sitting or standing as will suit you.
